You are allowed to trade during high-impact news events on challenge accounts. However, on funded accounts, trading is not allowed 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after a high-impact news release.

Example 1: Related Currency
A high-impact USD news event is scheduled at 13:00 UTC.
The restricted window is 12:50 UTC – 13:10 UTC.
- If you open or close a trade on XAUUSD during this period, it will result in immediate account closure.
- If you open or close a trade on EURUSD during this period, the trade is allowed and will not be considered a violation.
Example 2: 10-Minute Time Window
A high-impact USD news event is scheduled at 13:00 UTC.
The restricted window is 12:50 UTC – 13:10 UTC.
- If a trade is opened at 12:49 UTC and closed at 13:09 UTC, it will be considered a hard violation and may result in immediate account closure.
- If a trade is opened at 12:49 UTC and closed at 13:11 UTC, it is allowed and not considered a violation.
