There is no maximum risk limit on challenge accounts. However, on funded accounts, the maximum risk allowed per trade is 1% of the initial account balance.
Opening multiple positions at approximately the same time, in the same direction, and on the same instrument will be considered one single trade when calculating risk.
Risk Calculation Formula:
- Buy Position:
- Risk = (Entry Price – Stop Loss Price) × Lot Size × Contract Size
- Sell Position:
- Risk = (Stop Loss Price – Entry Price) × Lot Size × Contract Size
